Guildmaster (GM)

img    Silverknight

The GM provides strategic-level direction and generally manages stuff. The guild’s success belongs to the guild.  Its failures belong to the GM.

Silverknight is also Raid Leader of the Honeybadgers Ops Team.

Executive Officer (XO)

The XO provides tactical-level management, and functions as the GM whenever the GM isn’t around. As a real-life first (RL1st) organization, the GM will occasionally be AFK, and it’s important that the organization have a clear chain of command in those cases.

Kundera also currently serves as the Recruitment Officer, which is basically a Marketing role, composing and updating various recruitment threads, coordinating with new recruits to handle in-game invites, etc.

Chief Imperial Officer (CIO)

The CIO directs our efforts in <Delusional>, our Impside Guild. Yothann also serves as the raid leader of the Sithy Sithy Bang Bang ops team.

Philosophy

The guild has no “just because” officers. Each leader has a specific role. The guild’s leadership positions are service positions, not privilege positions.  Delusions leaders ensure that guild philosophy is upheld, and act as exemplars of guild principles.  The Leadership Team assiduously avoids conflict of interest, scrupulously avoids the appearance of impropriety or bias, and defers in-game rewards to the Membership at large.  Selfish and/or self-centered leaders are disallowed at all times, and observance by the Membership of such behavior on the Leadership Team should be called out with prejudice.  Doing so ensures that misunderstandings are quickly resolved, and truly exploitative behavior by leaders is nipped in the bud early.

Trial Member

This is a player’s first guild rank, assigned automatically at invite.  The Trial Period lasts two weeks, with different outcomes at the end depending on the Trial Member’s actions.

  1. Promotion to Citizen.  This occurs when the member is well-received by the guild, and has also registered for the guild’s forum.
  2. Promotion to Member.  This occurs when the member is well-received by the guild, but has not registered for the forum.
  3. Departure from the guild.  This occurs when the member is not well-received by the guild.  This may result in a ban, but only in the most extreme circumstances.  Generally, and hopefully, we all part amicably.

Member

This rank is for guildies in good standing who have not registered with the forum.  Guild members are not required to register, nor do any other thing than hang out and have fun.  Members cannot qualify for any higher rank, however, without first registering.

Citizen

This rank is for guildies in good standing who registered with the forum and join in the communications that occur there.  Through forum participation, Citizens contribute to and have a voice in guild operations at a deeper level than Members.

Peacekeeper

These are players who:

  1. possess current “minimum viable” gear level for success at Veteran Mode Operations (Hardmode), and;
  2. regularly participate in guild group activities.

There are no other requirements. The rank is not indicative of a player’s skill or competence, and is reset each time SWTOR increases the level cap.  The Peacekeeper rank is designed to distinguish players who are active in organized Operations content from players who mostly solo or run random groups.[/vc_column_boxed_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
